Geocaching HQ Block Party is a rare type of event designed to celebrate the jubilee of geocaching. To date, Block Parties have only been held at Geocaching HQ in Seattle, USA from 2011-2015.

In 2025, geocaching will turn 25 and to mark the milestone, Geocaching HQ wanted to bring this rare event to a wide range of cachers. So, subject to certain criteria, anyone can organise their own Block Party in 2025.

The event is the size of a MEGA event (500+ participants) and is similar to a regular MEGA event, except that it focuses on celebrating the 25th anniversary of geocaching.
